Inconsistant Update #2

As the year draws closer to a close, we ninjas find more growth of the ninjaness of ninjatude within Orlando, and the surrounding areas.  I've just added some content to the front page of this website.  WE NAOW HAZ A CALANDAR!!!1!!  Either Google finally fixed that shit, or I never new how to make it work before, but I've succeeded in exporting the calendar into html with a listing of all the Krondor Krew events that'll be going on. The great part is that Google has an updater for Facebook events that a user is in notifications about.  It takes a look at your Facebook events page, and creates calendar entries on Google for you.  Al I do is just copy them to the Krondor Kalendar, and BAM, THAT SHIT IS DONE.  So, get a gmail account, and add our events with some reminders and shit. Or, join the event with the link in each description.

Shinobi is a hard working  man  ninja, and has been getting our name out to the commoners like never before.  I find it amazing how he can infiltrate the commoner society with such ease.  Among these are men of Full Sail.  3 of whom are now in talks with your favorite ninja hip-hop (2ND BEST HIP-HOP IN ORLANDO BABY!!) ninjas for making our first ever, live action, music video. No dumb ass anime collage. No live music event clips mashed together like a cluster fuck of samurai in a bath house. Srsly, straight up, story tellin', sword swingin', costume wearin' music video.  Which one? Well, wouldn't you like to know. Really wanna know? Really? Reaaaally really?

Got ask us in  person  ninja.

We'll but puttin' info out shortly, and everyone in the Nerdlando area will know, and probably be invited too as extras (under certain conditions).

One final note, we're lookin' to make some t-shirts. I wanna know what the ladies think about this preliminary design.  Would you wear this?  Comment back on our facebook page.

Word up, ninjas, sionara!

Inconsistant update posts #1

Its just a few days away from Nerdapalooza! Are you ninjas ready for the level of awesome thats about to occur? Yes, Krondor Krew is ready to bring the heat like a thousand hand slap! Check out the Nerdapalooza website for details on the whole event. We hit the stage Saturday morning, but will be at the event the WHOLE TIME, ready to hug, high five, and katate chop anyone who wants one.

As the new tradition holds for Nerdapalooza, we'll be doing a cover song during out set. I promise you, this will be talked about well after Nerdapalooza, so you won't wanna miss it.

Krondor has been getting some sweet press lately that we think you need to know about:

First: Did you know we got reviewed in Wired.com? Fuck yea we did, thanks to our ninja from another dojo, Curtis Sliver, for the amazing review (http://www.wired.com/underwire/2010/05/review-nerdcore-dr-awkward-krondor-krew/)
Second: Z from Hipster, Please also gave us a great album review (http://www.hipsterplease.com/2010/05/that-ninjas-crazy.html). We can't wait to see this shogun of awesome at Nerdapalooza!
Third: These ninjas are the 2nd BEST HIP HOP ACT IN ORLANDO!! (http://www.orlandoweekly.com/features/story.asp?id=14121#hiphop)

What is all this?? Well, if you have been completely out of the loop, Krondor Krew has made the single bridge between the Garden of Eden and Avalon. Thats right, only these hip hop ninjas could be highly trained hip hop assassins for BOTH EMPulse Records and Scrub Club!! We've made the deal, and helped to form a bridge where the world benefits from the joint ventures of 2 amazing labels!

Read up, and check it all out, ninjas. Shit just got real.

In other news, Shinobi has accepted the task of capturing the essence of each new ninja to the growing army into a drawn form. Heres the deal, new ninja:

* Get your best ninja gear on. Mask, keikogi, weapons, just SUIT UP! Snap a photo someplace awesome, tell us your story of how you joined the Schattensoldat clan, and give us your name (nothing silly or lame, because ninjas are judgemental. Be a badass.)

* Do all this, and your photo, drawing, and story WILL go up on our website, where you will be a henchninja in our growing army.

Alright ninja, we're looking good in our path or ninjaness. We hope to have you join us each time. Honor us with your presence.

Calling all ninja!  Calling all ninja!

Krondor Krew has 2 awesome shows coming up.  The first in Ormand Beach, just north of Daytona on HALLOWEEN!!!  Epic-1 has pulled together a killer show for the north Floridians, featuring us, him, and some other surprise guests.  There might even be a few special collab tracks performed for the first time in a few years that night.
The second show is just a week afterwards in Pensacola for the NERDINVASION show, sponsered by Nerdrockstar.  This is a gonna be an all out crazy fucking event with music, cosplay, games, movies, and so much more.  Only $10 a ticket in advance, and it sounds like its an over night show, so that'll be fucking awesome.

The ninjistics of the recent news is awesome.  Shinobi Onibocho has revived his blog, and moved it to a new place or awesomeness. http://www.onibocho.com/dojo/ is the spot to rock.  Follow the musings of Shinobi as he takes a slice at a number of subjects.  Recently, his ancient writings and pirates.  Follow it like a well trained ninja tracking a fat, lazy samurai with his rss feed of http://www.onibocho.com/dojo/?feed=rss2.  We ninja use google reader, but choose what you may.  FOLLOW IT!!

The day after Nerdapalooza

Oh my ninja, what a weekend.  From the preparty, to the start on Saturday and our performance, to the close out on Sunday, it was a beast of an event.

Masurao had his job of Volunteer Director on lock down, making all the craziness of Nerdapalooza staffing seems like a cake walk.  Shinobi was able to make it out for Saturday, and the duo took to the stage with Hikari as the back up.  A 9 song set list, complete with a new song and the tradition of a cover song as requested by Z of Hipster, Please.  I give to you, video.  First, the cover of "Ninja Rap", made famous by the man Rob Van Winkle in TMNT 2

Our new song, Satsugai

The entire set is in our playlist @ http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=B417FEE0789BB094

Awesome Update

Whats up ninjas!

With the website done, it was time to make the blog page a little more friendly.  Although its a template, its clean and gets the job done.  Check it out sometime, if you want.

One cool little gadget on there is a widget from reverbnation that allows you to listen to our music right from the page.  http://www.reverbnation.com/krondorkrew is where its coming from.  Seems its an up and coming music site that has a really great base for bands, with alot of tools.  With myspace use slowly declining, its time to start looking to other social networking sites to get our name out there.

Remember, you can help with this, too.  We ninjas are wise, but not always in the know about new places to spread our ninjitsu ways.  Spead our black masked love and music, and let us know where to go.

Also, facebook is the new hotness it seems, and we are gaining many fans on there recently.  http://facebook.com/krondorkrew was finally gotten by us, after a successful campaign to make it to 100 fans.  We are now at nearly 115 and rising!!  To celebrate that, Masurao posted a remix of Death Machines he's been working on.  Help us out by suggesting us to your friends on facebook.  Lets make this ninja hip-hop grow!!

Nerdapalooza is just around the corner, and we ninja will be in attendance.  Make sure to get there, we will be performing at 5:30 on Saturday!!

Thats all for now, ninjas, return to stealth mode.....

Fresh website

Krondor Krew - The greatest in ninja hip-hop

The new site is beautiful, thanks to Masurao and his sweet photoshop and css skills.  There will probably be tweaking here and there, but over all it works for both IE7 and Firefox 3.

This Friday, at the University Mall in Tampa, we are playing a show with funky49 and mc wreckshin at Hot Topic?!?!?!  I know, Hot Topic.... never thought we'd get a show there.

The ninjas are about to put in serious time to the next album.  During the end of this week, Shinobi and Masu are about to spend a solid 48 hours working on the first batch of songs. While Masurao has been working hard with the organizers of Nerdapalooza, Shinobi has been laying out the beats for the new music, even recording and releasing his own and collab tracks on Rhyme Torrents.

Check out the website, and be on the look out for ninjas!
